Lost

I got lost yesterday while trying to get to my hotel in Santa Clara from the Golden Gate area. I ended up using a cab, Muni bus, Caltrain, a bus again, light rail, then did some walking and ended up somewhere in San Jose. Manged to reach the hotel, eventually.

Next time — I’m driving. Definitely. Traveling in Portland was so easy, but then again distances aren’t huge.

Oh, and stop bothering me with those silly questions. Yes, I have a D70s now. :-) One of the best pictures I’ve taken so far is probably that of Bhavana’s. It was nice meeting you!

Well, the Public transport system in Bay area takes getting used to.
You see Santa Clara has the VTA. Thats the local transport which
covers mountainview/Winchester/San Jose/Milpitas.
For longer distances, i.e. to go to Fremont you take the BART.

For San Fransico to Santa Clara, you take the Caltrain to Santa
Clara and from there take the appropriate bus.

A good site for Santa Clara Public transport is
transit.511.org.

If you have a car, dont forget to visit Alum Rock park. That is up the
hill and you can see the entire silicon Valley from there. Unfortunately since i did not have a car, I took the bus, walked 2 miles to park enterance and then after a 5mile treck half way through came back pretty dissapointed.

Thanks for the universal pics, i revisited it again thru you, things are just the same except for some new rides, and yosemite too.
u shd also visit big sur, half moon bay, tahoe ofcourse and most of all the sin city, vegas:)

It might be just me, but from your photos you don't seem to have a good lens (at least compared to f3ew's D70s pics).

Maybe it's not the equipment, just the photographer ;)
