Workshop, Day 2, etc.

Today was day two of my workshop. Turnout was better — probably because I was taking JavaScript and DHTML. From the written feedback that we gathered at the end of the workshop, the attendees—most of them—were happy with what they got to learn.

By the way, it's not that I love teaching HTML and that sort of stuff. It's just that I “happen” to know these well, and others apparently don't. So I was the only one who could conduct the workshop with some amount of authority :-)

In other news, my article, “XML and JavaScript in Mozilla”, is in this month's issue of Information Technology (pp. 50-52). The article is also available online at SitePoint. Read relevant comments at this mozillaZine post. All the whapping is justified...the Mozilla build I used for the article is pretty dated.

By the way, any of you guys going to Linux Asia 2004? I know [info]code_martial and [info]bluesmoon will be there.
