iDeas '04, Day One
Today was day one of iDeas '04 - CSI Mumbai Chapter's National Students' Convention. Workshops and seminars were on simultaneously. I attended three seminars:
The first was on Hyper Threading by Vinesh Paperwala of Intel. I had hoped for a technical insight on the technology, but it turned out into a disappointing, purposeless Intel propaganda.
The second seminar was on Artificial Intelligence by Sasikumar of NCST. His talk was non-technical, but quite comprehensive.
The third seminar was on Supercomputing by Saurabh Sonawala of HindiTron, the representatives of Cray in India. I wasn't paying attention to what he was saying, so I can't comment.
