Life doesn't hold tryouts
That's the tagline of Center Stage (watched it some time back). The movie's categorized under Drama and Musical at IMDb, but it's not a musical.
Anyway, the movie's about a group of young people who want to be part of the American Ballet Academy (ABA). It centers around their lives, their I'd-do-anything-to-get-into-the-ABA attitude, the sacrifices they make to get in there, etc. Yes, romance is thrown in in good measure.
The movie's got Susan May Pratt, who is an anorexic. Incidentally, she plays an anorexic in Hunger Point as well.
It's decent.
In other news, I think I have become a tad serious about my exams. That's nice. Before I start staring at cryptic pieces of whatever, I better get out of here.
