Paul Jansen of TIOBE Software was kind enough to provide me with data concerning Ruby’s ratings at TPCI.



As you can see in the graph (generated using Gnuplot, through Ruby Gnuplot, through a simple script—just for the heck of it: sometimes a man doesn’t have anything better to do), it’s not a very pretty picture. Maybe comparing data with ratings of other languages will help.

Before you jump to any conclusions, make sure you’ve read how the ratings are calculated.

In other interesting stuff, TPCI have started monitoring REBOL.
