REBOL Amazon
In the spirit of the new year, let me take this opportunity to wish you an awesome year ahead, if I haven’t wished you already (which would be most of y’all).
So the past week has been quite hectic. I’ve been doing good amount of good PHP (apart from reading Salinger’s last book, which, for obvious reasons, will proceed at a slow pace). Of course, that doesn’t change anything—I still hate it with all my love.
Took some time out to play with some REBOL. The result is REBOL Amazon—a REBOL interface to Amazon’s Web Services. The archive is bundled with a modified version of Gavin McKenzie’s SAX XML parser (the parser doesn’t have a way to pass a handler, so I modified the default parse handler).
Why I’ll continue to post stuff that you don’t care about »
- You may not care, but I know for fact that there are those who do.
- I do not intend to maintain multiple blogs. (There has been talk about supporting categories on LJ. Depending on how things are worked out, it may be possible to subscribe to specific categories of a user’s—friend’s—journal. Now that Six Apart has acquired LiveJournal, this process would be faster.)
- This is my space :-).

made available the
list of contributors to the yet-to-be-released, second edition of
Python Cookbook. I had received requests for permission for three of my recipes; one made it.
