Honey, I blew my mouth!

So today’s Bangalore edition of the Times of India said something about Karnataka’s budget and stuff. They also mentioned something about Bangalore being a revenue generating metropolis. Revenue generating—okay; metropolis—huh? :-o

Either the folks who write/edit these articles don’t know the meaning of metroplois, or they’re just plain ignorant fools. Bangalore’s a town, for God’s sake. Okay, call it a city—that’s still acceptable. Agreed that we have a bunch of cool Rubyists in this town, but that doesn’t make it a metropolis, does it?

Oh well. If you want to bask in metropolitan ultra-coolness, be there for the Ruby meet today, beginning in a few hours.

PS: When Emma Bunton sings “...Yeah how I long to seduce you now...” in her song Free Me—that’s the sexiest piece of music I’ve heard.

If it were a metro, we'd be able to claim 50% of our basic as HRA. Since we're only allowed to claim 40%, we can't be a metro. The IT dept overrides TOI.

Dude, its kinda difficult for me to figure it out why Bangalore cant be called a metropolis, but hey, if you found Emma's song one of the sexiest piece of music, i guess i should leave the rest to the Times. You know what i mean, dontcha?
