Coconut Trees

It’s so goddamn hot in Calicut, Kerala. My head’s aching because of all the sweat.

This is probably the wrongest time of the year to be here. But I can never get enough of this place—beef fry, porotha, the smell of coconut oil, cousins, music at home, ITC Kings, Wills, trees, the bakeries, ....

I left Kerala before I was 2, but I still feel nostalgic whenever I see coconut trees.

Spent 4 years in calicut. Actually at REC Calicut which is 22kms away.
And i agree. Apr, May is hell! And the worst thing was there used to be no power, and tons of mosquitos
