ehlo
For most purposes Flickr has pretty much become where I blog. I just couldn’t keep up with LiveJournal; and I hate that. Although, sometimes I think of one of my friends and read them. It’s weird, though, when I don’t get the context. And sometimes it’s funny because posts typically tend to be rants — and that’s okay — but it’s still funny (in a makes-me-smile kinda way, know what I mean?) because I’m just not used to reading personal blogs anymore.
The last people I read were
ravi,
tsk1979 and
diyaraghavan.
I want to (and hope) I can get back to blogging more often.

Feed changes
I realize that not all folks are probably interested in the photos I post on Flickr, so I’ve made a change to my feed, and added another feed:
ee - feed for my blog posts only. Most folks are probably subscribed through this feed, I think. From now on, you won’t see my Flickr photos here. - http://feeds.feedburner.com/premshree/a
ll - feed for my blog posts *and* Flickr photos.
Sound good?
Oh, and yeah, I’m in Bombay. This time for longer than a weekend. Here until Wednesday, after which I fly to Vienna. Haven’t done much, except for yesterday when, at around 2 AM or so, we impulsively decided on a booze session in Gorai. :-)

On being nominated for The Indibloggies
So it turned out that I was nominated for the Indibloggies award under the Best Science/Technology IndiBlog. Right. I wouldn’t have expected to get nominated: the tech stuff that I post once in a while appeals, generally, to a few small groups; I don’t post—except maybe a few couple times—tech news; and, being on LiveJournal—a place where I’d typically post stuff that I’d like to share stuff with my friends—more often than not I probably do not post stuff that I would have otherwise. All of which are probably good things.
I haven’t come to a conclusion about what these sort of awards mean and all that. Nonetheless, thanks to all those who nominated—at least it means that people do read me. I did not win, but this quote from del.icio.us is interesting:
Possibly the most quoted Indiblog by the "a-class" bloggers. [...]
I should now get back to checking on the marination for my Rum Chocolate Fudge.
