peanut butter
I wonder what it feels like to be an empty jar of peanut butter.

I eat a lot of peanut butter but I've never had my own jar of peanut butter: I was always eating at work or at friends'.

A few weeks ago I got myself my very own jar of peanut butter (Peanut Butter & Co.'s crunchy, because you must want to know) and today while buttering my toast I noticed the jar was half empty. That made me quite sad. I have never seen an empty jar of peanut butter and the future of that jar doesn't look very good.

An empty jar of peanut butter is a sad thing. I wonder how it feels to be empty.

Oi Drama Queen! Put your desi genes to use and recycle it. Use it to store something else?

Sure, but it will no longer be a happy jar of peanut butter :/

Good to see a post on LJ. :)

Or perhaps it'll feel really happy that it has finally fulfilled its purpose. Maybe a full peanut-butter jar, unloved and uncared for, standing in a sea of other jars in the supermarket isle, is a sad peanut-butter jar.

Or maybe I'm taking this thing too metaphysically. purely_narcotic will not approve.

Hmm... I like the idea of it having fulfilled its purpose. Makes me feel better,

maybe it can't wait to be free of all that peanut butter clogging up its insides!

Half empty is merely half full

I hate to say this, I've never had an empty jar of peanut butter.

I buy a jar of peanut butter and a jar of nutella - for some reason, the latter wins the race to empty & then the pb jar sits there till one day I throw it out, still with a bit stuck at the bottom.

May your jar not suffer the indignities of being second in the race to empty :)
